The Department of Dermatology at the Emory University School of Medicine was officially established in 1977. Over the years, this department has developed a wide range of academic activities including higher education, clinical research, and basic science research. Clinical services by our departmental, board-certified physicians are provided through the Dermatology Section of The Emory Clinic, Inc. which is a component of Emory Healthcare. In addition to general dermatology, we offer a wide range of dermatological services including Mohs Micrographic and Dermatologic Surgery, Pediatric dermatology, dermatopathology, immunodermatology, and aesthetic services through the Emory Dermatology Aesthetic Center.
